Randy Q Smith
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (LPC007602). I have a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University with a specialty in spirituality. I also hold a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Prior to my career as a therapist I was a protestant pastor. An area of personal and professional interest is the integration of emotional and spiritual health.
I also have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), the fastest growing evidenced-based approach to treating relational distress in couples in the world today.
I have been married to my wife Barbara for 46 years. We have five children and eight grandchildren. I enjoy anything related to health and fitness, music (especially jazz), cooking, hiking and an occasional game of golf.
Be Whole, Be Happy
Counseling Philosophy
I have a fully integrated view of the makeup of persons. All our major parts as human beings (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and relational) coalesce. One affects the other and all must be considered in the care of any specific trouble area. I will draw from different therapeutic modalities to help my clients grow toward wholeness.
